Melbourne - March 12th 2009 Constraint Technologies (CTI) announced that it will acquire all the Intellectual Property of the Rail Timetabling software known as Rail//Sys from the former TMG International company. Under the terms of the agreement, signed this week, CTI will also acquire the ongoing business in rail timetabling and timetabling software from TTG Transportation Technology Pty Limited. The Centre will concentrate on basic and applied research into techniques and technologies in support of CTI's Research Charter in areas such as scheduling & timetabling, asset utilization, staff rostering, operations optimization and disruption recovery.
